Victorian sapphire and diamond ring from 1897
A beautiful late Victorian period 18 carat gold ring with three facteed blue sapphires and two old single cut diamonds. The ring is hallmarked for the City of Chester and the year 1897. There is an engraving in the ring with the date 1898.
The center sapphire measures 4 mm by 3.5 mm and there is around .50 carat of sapphires in total. The diamonds are around .03 carat in total.
The ring size is 17.25 mm, the size can be modified if necessary.
The sapphires are a vivid medium blue in color and the ring is in good condition.
